SADA

Established in 1989, the Sacramento Area Dance Alliance (SADA) is a non-profit performing arts organization dedicated to promoting the art and education of dance, reflecting on the cultural and ethnic diversity of the Sacramento area. SADA supports and encourages dance education by offering workshops and awarding scholarships to assist dancers financially.  Named for SADA’s founder, the LaVerne Krei Memorial Scholarship is awarded to dancers from throughout the Sacramento area.  Two annual scholarships of $1,000 each are awarded on merit as applicants must complete a series of auditions to display their skills as worthy of a scholarship. The scholarships are open to ages 12 to 21 are not dependent upon financial need.
