Tracy Martin

Tracy has been a Hawkins instructor for more than 25 years! She began as an Acting instructor, and now
teaches several levels of both Acting and Stage Vocals. She is also the proud Vocal Director of Hawkins'
Musical Theatre Company. In addition to Hawkins, Tracy has been a Director, Vocal Director and
Instructor for the Department of Theatre Arts & Film at American River College for 30 years. Some of
the productions she has directed include Lost Girl, Animal Crackers, The Tempest, Stop Kiss, Pride &
Prejudice, and Arcadia, with children's shows that range from Charlotte's Web to Peter Pan. She has
worked for The Show Below, Fair Oaks Theatre Festival, and Left Coast Productions in San
Francisco.
Tracy has a Bachelor of Music from University of the Pacific, and her vocal directing credits
include nearly 70 productions for theatre that include the Department of Drama & Dance at CSUS,
Runaway Stage Productions, ARC Theatre, Stage Right Productions, FOTF and more. The classes at
Hawkins are near and dear to Tracy's heart, having raised two daughters who took dance and singing
classes here. She looks forward every year to helping her students find joy and skill in their performance
art of choice
