Karen Slattery

Karen Slattery is the Operations Director at Hawkins School of Performing Arts, where she blends extensive administrative expertise with a lifelong devotion to dance. Her foundation in the performing arts began as a competitive dancer growing up in Santa Barbara, sparking a deep appreciation for the discipline and artistry of the studio environment. This personal history seamlessly transitioned into her professional life, resulting in a dedicated 19-year tenure at Hawkins. Her relationship with the studio is also a proud family legacy; her daughter spent many years training and performing as a member of the studio’s competitive dance company. Today, Karen utilizes her dual perspective as both a dance parent and an industry veteran to lead account management and operations for Hawkins.
